Recycling
Here at Winstanley Windows we are pleased to be doing our part to help conserve the environment by having in place a rigorous recycling policy.
In order to adhere to this we separate the waste brought back to our yard, as shown in the images below, into 3 key elements glass, wood and plastic.
GLASS:
Berryman have been world class in glass recycling for the past 90 years and have pioneered new methods of collection and treatment to make sure that the glass
they recycle can be put to a useful second life, from closed loop systems to make new bottles and jars to construction products , insulation and many other useful products.
WOOD:
All of our wood is recycled into making kitchen cupboards and other home furniture products which are constructed from pulped wood.
uPVC:
Last but not least all uPVC collected is used for such things as plastic containers, bottles and other re-useable products.
